III IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII <br />999 <br />• APPENDIX 13-7 DocDate:12/11/2001 <br />Revegetation/Postmining Land Use Plan <br />North Wadge Deadhead Route (Technical Revision 17) <br />Disturbance associated with the deadhead route extension will be <br />restricted to those activities necessary for construction of the route, <br />runoff and sediment control ditches, and any necessary associated <br />disturbances. There is no coal extraction planned in this area. <br />Upon completion of all necessary grading and the replacement of topsoil <br />materials, revegetation activities will commence at the first available <br />seeding season. Seed Mix No. 1 (as specified on page 13-12), as well as a <br />cover crop of wheat or barley, will be seeded. The area to be seeded is <br />shown on Exhibit 13-8. A selection of supplemental forb and shrub seed <br />v+ill also be included with Seed Mix No. 1. <br />• Three areas of concentrated shrub and tree plantings are to be established <br />in this area (Exhibit 13-8). Two are upland planting areas which will <br />have species selected from Shrub and Tree Planting List No. 1 (page 13-25) <br />and planted at 300 seedlings/acre. The single aspen planting area <br />(Exhibit 13-8) will be planted at a rate of 300 seedlings/acre. <br />The postmining land use will be rangeland and wildlife habitat, consistent <br />with the postmining land use for the current Seneca II permit area. Other <br />sections of Tab 13 contained in the current Seneca II permit relating to <br />rill and gully maintenance, reclamation monitoring, and revegetation <br />success apply to the area associated with this revision. <br />s <br />13-7-1 Revised 04/06/89 <br />
