Dear Mr. Waldron:
This letter follows up on an August 3, 2001 phone conversation with Mark Held of
the Colorado Attorney General's Office concerning the referenced matter In that conversation, Mr.
Held confirmed that it was not necessary to submit forms entitled "Authorization To Represent A
Party" with respect to my representation of the persons identified in my July 19, 2001 letter of
objection or with respect to those persons' use of a water resources consultant as a witness.
However, Mr. Aeld did request a letter supplementing my July 191etter and clarifying that I am not
representing a formally organized group but rather a number of individual persons or entities.
This letter is intended to clarify that the entity known as the "Wilson Farms group"
to which I referred in my July 191etter is not a formally organized association, corporation, or other
legal entity. Rather, it is an informal "neighborhood" group comprised of the persons and entities
identified in the attachment to my July 19 letter. Thus, for purposes of identifying the parties on
whose behalf I am appearing in this matter, you should refer to the persons and entities in the
attachment to the July 191etter. (For ease of reference, I have gone ahead and included another copy
of that attachment. I have also re-titled it to indicate thai ii is a Iist of represented parties).
Please note that, as indicated in the July 191etter, each of the persons and entities in
the attachment are concerned about the adverse impacts the proposed gravel mining project will
have on their domestic and/or irrigation wells. The subject well permit numbers and well locations
of these persons and entities are identified in the attachment (except with respect to Mr. ICniffen and
the Heintzelmans. Their data will be provided in as timely a manner as possible).
