The
plan has been updated to reflect the removal of the three underground waste oil tanks from the mine site
(Site 9). These tanks were replaced by an existing 20,000-gallon aboveground metallic tank located in
our equipment yard area. See attached Figure 4.3-1, 'Industrial Waste Disposal Facilities'.
Since the last revision (9/10/87), Trapper mine has also removed all remaining electrical transformers
containing PCBs from the mine site. This was done (11/3/87) in accordance with Attachment C of our
_ previous plan. Trapper is now 'PCB-free'. Accordingly, we have removed Attachment C from this
revision.
All documentation concerning the removal, substance analysis, disposal, and certification of destruction
are for PCB's and waste oil sludge maintained on site and are available for review.
Please contact me 'rf you have any questions or comments regarding this revision.
Sincerely,
~(~.~GE ~
William Agnew
Senior Environmental Engineer
WSHNVA/kab/021
Enclosure
cc J.M.
