LXV41 FOE h11NING OF SANG AND GRAVEL <br />STATE OF COI-ORADO) '~ ^ DETTGER SAPID R GRAVEL <br />41HEREAS, the board of County Coinmissioner-s of Routt County has duly <br />received a petition fora sand and gravel mine from 6ettger Sand and Gravel, <br />requesting that a Special Use Permit be yr-anted for the purpose of mining gravel <br />in an Agriculture/Forestry zone district; and <br />WHEREAS, all necessary data has been submitted and all required fees <br />have been paid on behalf of the petitioner; and <br />WHEREAS, the petitioner intends to reclaim the land upon completion of <br />the mining operation; and <br />WHEREAS, the petition has been reviewed by the Routt County Regional <br />Planning Commission which has submitted an advisory report reconunendinn approval <br />of said Special Use Permit, subject to the folloo-,ing conditions: <br />1. A private and public property damage bond in an amount to be <br />determined by the board of County Commissioners be posted for <br />potential damage to drainage ditches, Fences, bridges, and roads <br />2. Weed control be exercised on the property <br />a. As necessary <br />b. At least once a year <br />3. IIettgers should assist in maintenance of county roads that their <br />operation uses <br />4. The time limit of the extension should be 10 years <br />5. The land use should be posted as mining <br />6. Mine plan should be reviewed by the Colorado Geologic Survey <br />and federal Ilighr•,ays <br />7. The shortest route to State and federal hlighv,ays should he used <br />by the gravel trucks and equipment <br />II. An all-weather road from the pit to the county road should be <br />required <br />9. An agreement should be made with Routt County, prior to final <br />County approval, for road r•egair and maintenance; and <br />WHEREAS, the board of County Conrnrissioners has held a public hear•iny on <br />the ~natl:er, notice of said hearing having been duly advertised according to law; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, 13E IT RESOEVEO that the above mentioned Special Use <br />PcrmiC is hereby approved for Chc mining of sand and gravel on the following lands: <br />W'; Section ~{, Township 6 North, Range 05 West <br />of the 6th P.t•1., Routt County, Colorado <br />suhject to the following conditions: <br />1. A private and public property damaye bond for Twenty-five thousand <br />dollars (,25,000) be. posted for potential damaye to drainage ditches, <br />fences, bridges and roads <br />2.
