<br />of terraces along the top of the hogback. These terraces will be reclaimed and reseeded and will <br />provide improved livestock and wildlife access for grazing after mining is completed. The site <br />will be restored as rangeland upon completion of mining activities. Based on the scope of the <br />planned disturbance and consideration of existing site conditions, the site appeazs to be well <br />suited to the planned operation. The schedule provides for start up of perniitted operation in <br />1998, and completion of Phase I mining activities in 2004. The moss rock and flagstone at the <br />site are of high quality and represent valuable building material. There is a need for this material <br />Western Colorado. <br />18 <br />
