Cattany <br />Acting Division Director <br />The Division has reviewed Trapper Mining, Inc.'s Dischazge Monitoring Reports, DMR's, for Second <br />Quarter 2002. Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment CDPS permit no. CO-0032115. <br />Dischazge monitoring reports was received by the Division on July 31, 2002, in accordance with CDMG <br />Rule 4.05.13(2)(a}(iii) for second quarter 2002. <br />Five NPDES Outfalls dischazged during the second quarter 2002. These five outfalls included; 001, <br />002, 011, 020, and 021. Four outfalls were sampled for WET analyses during 2°d quarter 2002. No <br />excursions were reported by Trapper Mining, Inc. for WET tests from any outfall for this quarter. Two <br />primary effluent limitation exceedences were identified during this quarter. Trapper requested alternate <br />limitations be applied to these excursions due to snowmelt runoff. Colorado Department of Public <br />Health and Environment considered the request and agreed with the alternate limitation standards. No <br />State of Colorado CDPH&E or Federal water quality violations were issued for second quarter 2002 in <br />compliance with Rule 4.05.1(3). <br />Thank you for your prompt submittals of DMR's for the CPDES permit no.
