These
included NPDES DMRs, monitoring reports for East Roatcap Creek and:'~ble.R
Steven`s 6eack~ aTldvia!d ~ve91s,? sediment pond self inspections and quarterly
certified reports for the new~~+,,~aste pile, As per our phone conversation of
Mdy 1, 1991, we agreed that quarterly inspections and monitoring reports are
no longer necessary for the old waste pile (see Rule 4.10.2(2)(a) since
construction and final reclamation occurred in 1987,
We also concur with your belief tft~t the sediment pond self inspection report
need only be submitted Quarterly as specified in Rule 4.05,6(101, COVCC must
still inspect sediment levels monthly as required by the Permit Volume SA
Sedimentation Ponds Sediment Monitoring Program. The results of these monthly
sediment inspections should be included on the quarterly reports.
Thank you far your timely submittal.
Si n~rely,
~k
Carl 8.
