Predominant vegetation consists of; Rangeland vegetation, which consists mainly of <br />Sandreed grass, Switchgrass, Sand Bluestem, I.ittie Bluestem, Blue Grama, Sedge, Sand <br />Sagebrush, Needle and Thread, Sand Dropscecl, Sidwats Grama. <br />The proposed pit is located where a previous pit was operated to mine clay for the State road <br />base, fill dirt, and gravel during the construction of highway 61. This portion of the site is <br />approxunately 40-SO°k of the proposed pit. It has not been reclaimed and has a steep (up to ZO'} <br />embankment close to the northside of the fence. There aze no etreams, rivers, or canals in the <br />area. <br />There aze no man made structures within 200 feet of this site. <br />Please see the attached map and description of soil types <br />
