Aggregates conform to ASTP1 C-33 specifications
for properties tested, except for the potential reactivity test results.
The aggregates are deleteriously reactive with cement alkalis. It is our
recommendation that a low alkali cement be submitted for testing in
accordance with ASTM C-227 test for Potential Alkali Reactivity of Cement-
Aggregate Combinations, the Itortar Bar Method.
Use of these aggregates with a high-alkali cement will result in disinte-
gration of concrete from reaction with cement alkalis.
Please advise us of questions you may have regarding this report.
Very truly yours,
COMMERLI/),IrTEST}~liG LAIBORATORIES
C.
