`. • •
Mined Land Reclamation
Mr. Randy Overton
October 27, 1977
Page 2
areas with the exception of the active north end of the
A-Band quarry drawing bec-1360 (sheet 5). Your suggestion
to submit a reclamation plan map on this area at this time
appears to be very logical even though it may remain active
for many years. There is also ample topsoil in this area.
The new mining plan that may require trial operation prior
to meaningful development of an eventual reclamation plan,
will be confined for B to 12 years to quarry area pra~viously
disturbed between 1928 and 1956. In any case we understand
you will advise any recommendations after you have hid an
opportunity to review the Boettcher limestone quarry
regular permit application information and consult with
staff personnel.
The regular permit application for the Larimer Counts Slab
Cenyon limestone quarry 77-347 was not discussed. Ideal
will submit a reclamation plan map with final contours to
supplement the verbal description given in this application.
Another item discussed with you was Ideal's desire to
present at the proper time and in an acceptable form for
board consideration, security other than corporate surety
bond as mentioned on page 39 of the rules and regular;ions,
item 7.15.
Any suggestions or recommendations will be appreciat<:d and
we look forward to working with you on these permit ~ippli-
cations.
Sincerely,
7
R. E. Marsh
Properties Manager
REPd: c jb
cc: ARr. V. E. Wessels
PRr. John Relic, Jr.
Mr. V. H. Szidon
Mr. C. W. Brown
Mr. R. P. Comstock
i
