Bruce Humphries hlinerals Program Supervisor Mlined Land Reclamation Division Department of Natural Resources 1313 Sherman St., Room 215 Denver, CO 80203 re: File No.: M-90-147, Mendota Properties, 110(2) Application Dear Mr. Humphries: I am writing in response to your letter of December 19, 1990 concerning Exhibit F - Source of Legal Right-to-Enter. In the original application, I submitted a letter as Attachment D from the Clear Creek County Treasurer indicating that all taxes assessed to Jack Pine Mining Company have been paid and are current. The properties listed on Page 2 of my submission and referenced in Attachment A from the Clear Creek County Planning Department make up only a portion of the properties owned by Jack Fine Mining Company in Clear Creek County. This list, however, comprises all of Jack Pine's ownerships in the immediate area of the Mendota Project. All of the properties listed include both surface and mineral rights. The composite boundaries of these ownerships as they relate to the project are indicated on the Location Map (Exhibit E). clear Creek County bills Jack Pine Mining Company for the taxes in the form of a computer readout of approximately 65 pages measuring 11" X 14" each. There are multiple properties listed cn each page with no relationship to any specific area or location. It is for that reason that they issued the letter included as Attachment D in response to our request for a tax receipt for the associated properties. I personally certify that all surface and mineral rights to the requested permit area belong to the Jack Pine Mining Company without dispute, and that all taxes for those properties are paid current. Further, I certify that all access to the project is directly from public right-of-ways to Jack Pine owned property.
