119 <br />• site: 5RT34 (Fig. 1). <br /> Site Type: Open 11th1C. <br /> zocation: SW'-;NW'-;, Sec. 31, TSn, R86w; UTM Zone 13, E322,850m., N4 ,468,250m. <br /> Description: 5RT34 is an open lithic site, consisting of a thin scatter <br /> of flakes exposed in a road cut approximately 180 m. west of 5RT32. The <br /> locality is on the north side of an interfluvial ridge between Foidel Creek <br /> and an unnamed drainage. The site is exposed to the north and east and <br /> covers an area 30 by 40 m. The nearest water source is the unnamed drain- <br /> age which lies 200 m. northeast. Vegetation surrounding the site includes <br /> sagebrush, rabbitbrush, and local grasses. No surface features were observed, <br /> and no portable cultural materials other than flakes were seen in the site <br /> area. There has been no significant natural disturbance of the site. Cul- <br /> tural disturbance appears to be limited to the road cut. <br />A <br />N <br />~ Diagnostic Artifacts: <br />one. <br /> evaluation: 5RT34 has no potential for yielding information important to <br /> prehistory. We recommend no further action be taken with regard to this <br /> site. <br /> <br />
