Areas that fall within the proposed gravel mine and conveyor site that are identified, described and documented herein as uplands, or those passing the FAC Neutral test that do not maintain all three requisites are considered Non-jurisdictional wetlands or Waters of the U.S. Remaining azeas exhibited on Figure 2, Jurisdictional Wetland Map that are labeled as non- applicable jurisdictional waters will not be affected by the proposed activity. Therefore, no jurisdictional determination is requested for these specific areas. Classification of wetlands and waters of the U.S. described herein are in accordance with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), Classification Svstem for Wetlands and Deepwater Habitats (Cowazdin et. al., 1979). Summary WALSH is herein formally requesting a written verification of the Waters of the U.S. and wetland boundaries, as described herein and as identified on Figure 2, Jurisdictional Wetland Topographic Map and Figure 3, Jurisdictional Wetland Aerial Map.
