RE: 19 Roatl Gravel Pit, 110c Application M-2002-110, Preliminary Adequacy Review.
Dear Greg:
This Office has reviewed the 110c application for the above referenced site. Please
address or correct the following issues:
1) Exhibit B requires that all manmade structures shall be identified within this exhibit.
Per Rule 6.3.2 Ib), please reference the house, shed, and power line within this
section. The text appears to reference all fences, roads, etc but please confirm all
man made structures within 200 feet are correctly identified.
2) Exhibit C requires that the dimensions of all haul roads and access roads be clearly
stated. Per Rule 6.3.3 (2)(d) please clarify the dimensions of the access roads and
ramps up to 19 Road.
3) Please provide a statement as to rather explosives will or will not be used within
Exhibit C to satisfy Rule 6.3.3 (2)(p).
4) Exhibit E, the Mine Map does not show a general direction of mining activities. Per
Rule 6.3.5(2)(d), submit a new map showing the starting point and direction of
mining.
5) The Reclamation Plan mentions 6H: 1 V ramps that will be left as shallow areas for
wildlife. Exhibit E, the Reclamation Map does not reflect the shallow areas to be left
in place. Per RDIe 6.3.5(3)(c), please submit a corrected map depicting the correct
final topography.
6) Please supply a copy of the Public Notice required under Rule 1.6.3.
