NONTECHNICAL SOILS UEsCRIPTIUN RE'runi <br />soils for Urevel Pi: <br />Mao I Soil name and description <br />Symbol <br />'r7A0 Ryan Park loamy sand, U to 3 perceni slopes <br />This soil is very deep and vell drained or somewhat <br />excessively drained, It formed in alluvium from <br />igneous sources on fans end terraces. The surface <br />layer is loamy fine sand about 3 inches thick. The <br />subsoil is heavy sandy loam about 17 inches thick. The <br />substratum is light sandy loam to a depth of 6O inches <br />or more. Permeability is moderately rapid end <br />availabie eater capacity is moderate. The hazard of <br />erosion br vind is very high. <br />XJUF iorriorthents, v to c5 Dercent slopes <br />This soil is very deep end excessively drained on <br />terrace escarpments end steep fens. It formed in <br />coarse textured alluvium. The surface later is <br />gravelly sandy loam or 9revelly loam about 3 inches <br />thick. The underiyin9 material to a depth of tiG inches <br />or more is a gravelly sand or very gravelly sand. <br />Permeability is moderately rapid and availabie eater <br />capacity is low. Runoff is rapid and the hazard of <br />erosion by water is nigh. <br />
