EXHIBIT H - WILDLJFE INFORMATION
A wildlife impact assessment was made by the Cdorado Division of Wildlife on November 11,
1981 by Mr. Tom Martin.
1) He would like for us to leave a random row of trees along the North border of the pit.
("This would make the elk feel safer, more at ease and relaxed.')
2) There were two time periods that he would like for us to try to avoid working during:
June 1 through June 15, and October 20 through November 15. These periods are
not super critical, but we will comply as best we can.
Mr. Martin also stated that this area is a "Green Desert" and that overall he though this project,
once completed, would be good for wildlife. Clearing out trees and planting grass and he would
rather see the existing trees replant themselves rather than us planting at the completion of the
pit. There would be very little impact on the small tads and animals of the area.
Amended Wildlife infomration:
The wildlife assessment received in January 1999 from Mr. Tom Martin is made a part of this
mining and reclamation application. ACA Products will adhere to Mr. Martin's suggestion to avoid -
1 periods other than from June to September. If any work is to be done during October through
May, ACA will use a late morning start ups (8:00 AM) and will not continue work after 5:00 PM to
' avoid early morning or early evening feeding hours. Typical{y the construction season is not in
force dur~these time frames and only light truck traffic and one loader may be used during the =,
'~ October through May season.
~'~
Mr. Martin's letter of 1229/98 is attached to this document.

F =-
1`

i =
y
