Permit C-81-044. Cyprus Empire Corporation
Dear Ms. Binns;
Per my discussion last week with Mr. Routten, CEC may install a temporary surface
waterline within the previously disturbed area near the 5 mine discharge to utilize water
from the Williams Fork in the event of a pump failure. As explained to Mr. Routten, the
5 mine discharge pump has failed, and in the interim period required to pull the pump
and get it repaired, we are dependent solely upon the Wise Hill #4 well and pump to
supply the mine for dust suppression and fire fighting water. The pump set for the
Williams Fork will provide an emergency backup in the event of the Wise Hill pump
failing, and will be temporary in nature. In the event CEC wishes to install a more
permanent set-up in the future, a minor revision request will be submitted.
Should you have any questions or comments, please contact me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
~%1~~1~~~~~~~
Marcus A.
