C~
d. SOIL PROFILE DESCRIPTIONS
Soil profile descriptions typical of the soils within the permit .area are in
Illustration B. The methods used in describing the profiles era discussed in
Section 5.y. Profile descriptions are provided to characterize each soil series
phase or series variant comprising the mapping units. 'The location of the
described profilss (pit locations) era shown on the Soil Inventory Maps, ~~laps
6 and 7.
e. ANALYTICAL RESULTS
Chemical and physical analyses for the soils series phases or variants analyzed
• era in Illustration C. Representative samples of soil scrips or scrias variants
-~- -~
were selected for laboratory analysis in an effort to dater;nine their suitability
for use in reclamation as denoted by WDEQ Guideline No. 1, 'Table I-3 (E.J.H.
~ J.K.W., March 1980, revised). Results from previous soil studies are included
in Illustration C. Samples which correspond to the soil scrias descriptions in
Illustration B are denoted by pit number in the descriptions.
. ~
.~- -
f.
