In this report Yampa Valley Coal
Corporation (YVCC) has compared the constituents of the March 12, 1987
approved hydrology plan and the previously approved plan. YVCC is informing
the CMLRD of the following differences between the two plans.
Sites 8/2005, 1002, 1003, 7 and 109 did not have carbonate or free
ammonia analyzed since they were not part of the approved hydrology plan
until March 12, 1987.
Site 16 was a short analysis list except in April and October when full
suite analysis occurred. For specific constituents see the 1985 Annual
Hydrologic Report for Mine 1, 2 and Eckman Park dated January 30, 1986.
All alluvial and bedrock wells did not have carbonate, dissolved lead
and dissolved molybdenum analyzed since they were not part of the approved
hydrology plan until March 12, 1987.
YVCC has also included in this report previously monitored sites which
have been deleted from the hydrology plan as described in TR-87-3 approved
March 12, 1987.
If there are any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Jim
Nalven or myself.
Sincerely, ~.
~!~y~~~ti~TaZ
Richard Mills
Senior Environmental Engineer
RAM/de
Attachment
°-
