2.03.10 Identification of Other Licenses and Permits
<br />The following is a list of permits and licenses which are required by federal,
<br />state, county and local governments in order to conduct the proposed mining
<br />activities. The applications for these permits and licenses may have been
<br />made, or the permits or licenses may currently be held, in the name of
<br />Colorado Westmoreland Inc., Colorado Consolidated Coal Company (CW I's
<br />predecessor in interest), subcontractors to Colorado Westmoreland Inc., or
<br />Cyprus Orchard Valley Coal Corporation or Bowie Resources Limited (Bowie
<br />Resources, LLC's predecessor in interest):
<br />Permits and licenses not cancelled or specifically transferred to Bowie
<br />Resources LLC, are still active for the Bowie No. 1 Mine operations.
<br />Coal Lease #C-25079 from the U.S. Department of the Interior,
<br />Bureau of Land Management, 2850 Youngfield Street, Lakewood,
<br />Colorado 80215, to Colorado Westmoreland Inc., dated March 1,
<br />1978 and modified December 1, 1983. Assigned to Bowie
<br />Resources, LLC.
<br />2. Coal Lease #C-27432 from the U.S. Department of the Interior,
<br />Bureau of Land Management, to Colorado Westmoreland Inc., dated
<br />September 1, 1979, and modified (addition of 160 acres), dated April
<br />12, 1983. Assigned to Bowie Resources, LLC.
<br />3. Coal Lease #D-036955 from the U.S. Department of the Interior,
<br />Bureau of Land Management, to Colorado Westmoreland Inc.
<br />assigned from the Gu{f Oil Corporation, dated November 1,1928, and
<br />readjusted on December 28, 1983. Assigned to Bowie Resources,
<br />LLC.
<br />4. Coal Lease #C-37210 from the U.S. Department of the Interior,
<br />Bureau of Land Management, to Colorado Westmoreland Inc., dated
<br />May 1, 1984, and modified (addition of 38.38 acres), effective May 1,

<br />6. Right-of-way granted for 46 KV Transmission Line Crossing, No.
<br />GOC-23960-RW, from the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of
<br />Land Management, to Colorado Westmoreland Inc., dated April 20,
<br />• 1977. Right-of-way no longer required because the transmission line
<br />has been removed.
