Since consumptive use credits for the removal of phreatophytes far exceed the depletions
from evaporation and from mining for most months, the irrigation credits will be retained for
later use. During the months when the irrigation consumptive use credits will be used for
replacement, water will be diverted from the main canal of the Last Chance Ditch and returned to
the Colorado River via a concrete lined ditch on the west end of the Scott Pit mining boundaries.
When a Water Court awarded Plan for Augmentation is in place, irrigation water rights in the
Last Chance Ditch that are appurtenant to the property will be changed from irrigation to
augmentation in the amount of 0.714 cfs.
