SITE DESCRIPTION
General soil, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Soil
Conservation Service, is the Alda-Loveland-Fluvaquents which is:
Deep, nearly level, somewhat poorly drained and poorly drained
soils forming mostly in loamy alluvium underlain by sand and
gravel; on bottomlands and low terraces.
The specific area consists of three (3) different soil types:
1) ELS LOAMY SAND, #26
2) FLUVAQUENTIC HAPLAQUOLLS, #28
3) FLUVAQUENTS, #29
The proposed sand and gravel pit is located in wasteland with
limited livestock grazing potential. No other structures.
