<br />E3tHIBIT "G" <br />(I) Statement that the operation is not expected to directly affect surface <br />or groundwater systems. <br />As stated earlier in this application, this will be a dry pit <br />operation with no affect on water rights or hydrology to the <br />surrounding area -either surface or grotmdwater system. As <br />par[ of the Pueblo Cottnty Special Use Permit, the application <br />has stipulated: "Mineral extraction shall not be permitted below <br />The elevation of the Nussbaum Spring static water table surface <br />as established by a certified engineer." <br />(2) If the operation is expected to directly affect surface <br />or groundtater systems. <br />(a)(b)(c). There are no water resources or aquifers that <br />will be affected by this operation. As a dry pit operation, <br />there will be no dewatering invoh~ed. <br />(3) Intimate of the project water requirements. <br />No water will be required in this dry pit operation or in <br />reclamation. <br />(4) Projected amount from each source of water to supply <br />this project. <br />This dry pit operation will have no water requirements. <br />(S) Affirmatively state t1~at the operator has acquired or <br />applied for an NPD)JS permit. <br />An application is being prepared for submittal to the <br />Colorado Water Quality Control Division for a Stornnvater Dis- <br />charge Permit. <br />
