I have also enclosed the
proof of publication for this operation.
~~ ~.•-~
v
~n
~~
`„i \ c..
\`
lA. The estimated depth of mining is 15 (fifteen) feet.
B. Direction of mining is to be in a southerly direction
from the northern edge of the permitted area.
C. This mine will be active for approximately 15 yrs.
Topsoil stockpiles will be located just beyond the
western edge of the permitted area on land mined
previously to 1973.
2A. This area will be broadcast seeded. Grand County does
not possess the equipment necessary to drill seed.
B. It is the intention of Grand County to save as much
topsoil as is available on the site to use for reclama-
tion up to a depth of six inches (6"). Although the
S.C.S. soils interpretation record shows ten inches
(10") of topsoil present, this may not be the case on
this site.
Sincerely,
i~""" / ~
Rick Bayer
Planner
RB/jh
• : iiiiiiiiiiiuiu iii
DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENT AND PLANNING
Enc.
