Box 247
Silver ton, Colorado
ATTN: Bill Dotter
81433
Ri: Sunnyside Mine & Mayflower Mill
Our File: #77-378
Dear Pit. Dotter:
On January 25, 1978, the Pined Land Reclamation Board approved
tl~~e application for a permit for Standard Metals Company w:Lth
bond set at $347,543.00. This bond was never submitted due to
Standard Metals close down of activity.
Naw that you are resuming operations, the submittal of bond by
Standard Meta la is in order.
I have enclosed a coF:y of the minutes for January 25-26, 1'i7S.
As you can see, there are other matters to be taken care of in
conjunction with the permit. However, all of the people who
were involved with this application are no lon3er around - Bade
Orell of our office, will James of the Attorney General's office,
and Gerald Ott of your office.
I believe the way to proceed is for your company to submit the
bond and then we can proceed to work out the other matters by
queationtng both Standard Metals and our Divisions former
employees.
Thank you for your consideration. We will work Ch is situation
out eventually.
Sincerely,
Robert C.
