The Pueblo County Public V~lorks Department indicates it has "No Additional Comments" regarding this land use case beyond reiterating the need for compliance with the existing conditions of approval. RECOMMENDATIONS Staff recommends APPROVAL of Special Use Permit No. 671 with the following conditions: The applicant shall provide the Department of Planning and Development with a copy of any Federal, State, or local permit applications, approvals, amendments, or releases (e. g., air quality, MLRB, Stormwater, augmentation, etc.) pertaining to Special Use Permit No. 671 within 30 days of their submittal to the respective agency and/or• approval by the respective agency. 2. The applicant shall provide notice to the Department of Planning and Development when mnning activity requiring in excess of the 20-vehicle trips per day indicated by Exhibit No. 96, herein attached, shall commence. 3. The applicant shall repair in good workmanlike manner any damage his hauling operation has caused to Baculite Mesa Road, as determined by the Pueblo County Department of Public Works. Repairs shall restore the road to a condition as good as or better than existed prior to commencement of the applicant's operations under this SUP as determined by Pueblo County Department of Public'JVorks. A. Prior to commencing a hauling operation in excess of the twenty vehicle trips per day identified in Condition No. 2 above and Exhibit No. 9B, herein attached, the owner shall notify Public Works and a core sample of the road will be taken by an independent soils testing laboratory. During the hauling operation, the owner shall submit copies of their truck load or tonnage tickets to Public Works and upon completion of the hauling another core sample will be taken. The core samples shall be used to help determine the extent of any damage to the road together with a visual inspection of the truck load or tonnage tickets. The owner shall be responsible for the repair of the damage to the road attributable to their operation. Core samples and tests shall be paid for by the owner. B. The owner shall submit a tabulation of their truck load or tonnage tickets on a monthly baasis to the Department of Public Works.
