The Pueblo County Public V~lorks Department indicates it has "No Additional <br />Comments" regarding this land use case beyond reiterating the need for <br />compliance with the existing conditions of approval. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Staff recommends APPROVAL of Special Use Permit No. 671 with the following <br />conditions: <br />The applicant shall provide the Department of Planning and Development with a <br />copy of any Federal, State, or local permit applications, approvals, <br />amendments, or releases (e. g., air quality, MLRB, Stormwater, augmentation, <br />etc.) pertaining to Special Use Permit No. 671 within 30 days of their submittal to <br />the respective agency and/or• approval by the respective agency. <br />2. The applicant shall provide notice to the Department of Planning and <br />Development when mnning activity requiring in excess of the 20-vehicle trips per <br />day indicated by Exhibit No. 96, herein attached, shall commence. <br />3. The applicant shall repair in good workmanlike manner any damage his hauling <br />operation has caused to Baculite Mesa Road, as determined by the Pueblo <br />County Department of Public Works. Repairs shall restore the road to a <br />condition as good as or better than existed prior to commencement of the <br />applicant's operations under this SUP as determined by Pueblo County <br />Department of Public'JVorks. <br />A. Prior to commencing a hauling operation in excess of the twenty vehicle <br />trips per day identified in Condition No. 2 above and Exhibit No. 9B, <br />herein attached, the owner shall notify Public Works and a core sample of <br />the road will be taken by an independent soils testing laboratory. During <br />the hauling operation, the owner shall submit copies of their truck load or <br />tonnage tickets to Public Works and upon completion of the hauling <br />another core sample will be taken. The core samples shall be used to <br />help determine the extent of any damage to the road together with a <br />visual inspection of the truck load or tonnage tickets. The owner shall be <br />responsible for the repair of the damage to the road attributable to their <br />operation. Core samples and tests shall be paid for by the owner. <br />B. The owner shall submit a tabulation of their truck load or tonnage tickets <br />on a monthly baasis to the Department of Public Works. <br />
