I have organized my comments <br />on an exhibit-by-exhibit basis below. Any exhibit or part thereof not <br />mentioned is considered adequate for Board approval npw. Please respond to <br />this letter at your earliest convenience (but certainly no later than <br />May 21 1984) such that our staff can review your responses and be ready to <br />present the matter to the Board during the scheduled May 23-24, 1984 meeting. <br />If we can resolve the various question areas before the Board meeting, this <br />application can probably be presented to the Board as a "no problem", written <br />matter, and you will not need to be present at the meeting here in Denver. <br />Before the Board can consider the application, our Division must receive proof <br />J of the two sequential weeks of publication (publisher's affidavit or a copy <br />thereof), proof of notification to the landowner and any immediately adjacent <br />Tandowners (certified mail return receipts or copies thereof) and proof of <br />local zoning approval. In the case of local zoning approval, I have sent a <br />`aa letter to Chaffee County, but have not yet received a response. You may wish <br />y. to contact them about this matter. In the case of the other two items, I <br />/ recommend that you send them as soon as they are available. <br />Exhibit A <br />1. The original legal description described a permit area of 9.8 acres in <br />J parts of Sections 33 and 34. The new map of the permit area gives a metes and <br />bounds description located only in the NEl/4NE1/4, Section 33, and a permitted <br />acreage of 8.03. I presume that the new legal description and acreage are <br />correct and should be used from now on.
