Perennial fortis had a <br />mean production of 1.4 ams/m2, and Anemone oatens, Carex spp., <br />•~ Stipa scribneri, and Thalictrum fendleri all had production means of <br />0.6 gms/m2. Total mean production for understory in the site was <br />10.0 ams/m2. <br />Density measurements for the shrub, tree and sapling components <br />of the Ponderosa pine-Douglas fir-oak reference area are presented in <br />Table 9. In the shrub category, Quercus gambelii had a mean density <br />value of 1.5/m2. Cercocarpus montanus had a mean density of 0.5/m2, <br />~vmohoricarpos oreonhilus had a mean density of 0.4/m2, and Rosa <br />v,oodsii had a mean density of ~.~/m2. In the tree category, Pious <br />ponderosa had a mean density of 2.6/100m2, Pseudotsuaa menziesii had <br />a mean density of 2.0/100m2, Juniperus scopulorum had a mean density <br />of 1.4/100in2, and Pious edulis had a mean density of 1.0/100m2.
