(HGTI), please find <br />enclosed the 1997 4`h Quarter Pond Inspection Reports for the Truck Loop Pond (OOlA) and <br />the Rail Loop Pond (002A) at HGTI's Hayden Gulch Loadout facility, Permit No. C-92- <br />081. <br />Both pond inspection reports have been certified by a professional engineer. As you are <br />aware, HGTI submitted a permit Technical Revision (TR) application to the DMG on <br />October 31, 1997 so that Pond 002's embankment can be raised in order [o satisfy Rule <br />4.05.6(11)(e). Once the TR has been approved, HGTI will modify the pond embankment as <br />noted under the Maintenance Required section of the pond inspection report. <br />Conditions were normal and no problems were observed. A single discharge from the <br />Truck Loop Pond occurred during the quaver.
