w +Z

EXHIBIT A - Legal Description
Upon approval, the proposed sand and gravel pit will be located within the
following leased land: The S'zN6J'; and N'zS6•J'; of Section 34, Township 12 North,
Range 49 4Jest of the 6th Principal Meridial, Logan County, Colorado.
EXHIBIT B - Mining Plan
Upon approval, the proposed sand and gravel pit will be operated as an open
pit. Field inspection of the proposed site area by the local Soil Conservation
Service District Conservationist has indicated that there is intermittent topsoil
at the site, thus permitting, where practical, the stripping and stockpiling of
topsoil for future reclamation efforts. The proposed site will be excavated with
conventional equipment. Specifically, the following equipment is owned and operated
by Logan County, and could be used individually or in combination at the site:
D7 Caterpillar; W26 John Deere Loader; 125 B Michigan Loader; 930 Caterpillar
Loader; D6 Caterpillar Bulldozer; and a 645 D John Deere Loader.
Following extraction, the sand and gravel from the site will be screened at
the site. Logan County owns and operates the following screening equipment,
which may be used individually or in combination: Abco Screener; Peerless
Screener; and a Coleman Screener.
Following screening, the sand and gravel from the site may be stockpiled for
future use. If stockpiling becomes necessary, it will be within the northcentral
portion of the permit area. Any stockpiling will be within the permit area.
Access to the proposed site will be by way of a haul road, which will be con-
structed by Logan County. The haul road will link the site to a County road,
and will not traverse any cropland. A fence and gate will be constructed where
the haul road intersects with the County road. This should dissuade entrance to
the site by unauthorized persons.
EXHIBIT C - Ma
See attached map.
EXHIBIT D - Wildlife, Water Resources, Vegetation and Sails Information
Wildlife: Antelope, coyote, cottontail rabbit, jackrabbit, and mule deer
are at some time present in the area.
