R E S O L U T I O N
OF DECISION ON AN APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE
BY BUTTOLPH.
WHEREAS, William H. Buttolph has applied for a conditional
use for gravel extraction and crushing in an AF-T (Agricultural
Forestry - Transitional) zone on property situate in Mesa .County,
Colorado, and described as:
The East Half of the Southwest Quarter and the
Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of
Section 35, Township 1 South, Range 1 East,
Ute Meridian;
and
WHEREAS, a hearing was held before the Board of County

Commissioners of the County of Mesa on the 21st day of August, 1978,
which hearing was held after proper notice thereof; and
WHEREAS, after consideration of the evidence, the Board
FINDS:
1. The Mesa County Planning Commission recommended ap-
proval of the application subject to all of the requirements of
such an operation as addressed in the Mesa County Zoning'Resolution.
2. That, with the safeguards provided under the Zoning
Resolution, the use appears to be in the interest of the public
peace, health and safety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY

COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF MESA:
That the application of William H. Buttolph for a conditio
use for gravel extraction and crushing at the above described prop-
erty be approved subject to the aforementioned supplementary
regulations contained in the Mesa County Zoning Resolution.
PASSED and ADOPTED this /o' day of September, 1978.
