G-~ J~~
Mr. Kent A. Gorham
September 3, 1993
Page 3
Inspection of springs identified in previous field efforts was conducted. Field measurements,
sampling and laboratory analyses of the three (3) springs with the greatest flows, S-2, S-3 and S-5
were completed, Field measurements and laboratory results are presented in Table 3,
Measurements From Springs. All eight (8) springs observed at [he former mine site during
recent years were also noted flowing during this field effor[. The springs are referenced
according to previous correspondence and are also shown on Map 1. No additional springs were
observed, however, a thorough seep and spring investigation was not conducted at this time.
The TDS concentrations measured are reasonable for spoil springs.
TALE 3
MEASUREMENTS FROM SPRINGS
Spring Location Date Flow Rate Temp, pH Cond.
