Based upon the fifteen cover transects sampled on this location, the average total <br />cover was determined to equa172.67 percent and the average allowable cover was found to equal <br />71.53 percent (Table 10, Mountain Oak Reference Area Plant Cover). Sample adequacy was <br />achieved on this site with only 4.3 transects (Table 2, Edna Mine Sample Adequacy <br />Calculations). A total of 44 different plant species were encountered in the sampling on this site, <br />consisting of 14 perennial grasses, 22 fortis and 8 different shrub species. <br />The most dominate plants growing on this site were Mountain Snowberry and Mountain Big <br />Sagebrush, which contributed 27.61 and 24.06 percent of the relative cover found on this <br />location. Kentucky Bluegrass, was the most common grass on this site, contributing 14.04 <br />percent of the total relative cover on this site. <br /> <br /> <br />
