• <br />Lithic Cryoboroll 760 feet west, 1,605 feet north, southeast corner Section I I, T.SN <br />R.86 W at 6,955 feet elevation is: <br />A I I 0-4 inches brown (10 YR 5/3) fine sandy loam, dark brown (10 YR <br />3/3) moist; moderate medium subongular blocky structure; slightly <br />hard, very friable; non-sticky and slightly plastic; few fine and <br />medium roots; non-calcareous; pH 6.6; clear smooth boundary. <br />A12 4-9 inches brown (10 YR 5/3) fine sandy clay loam, dark brown (10 <br />YR 3/3) moist; moderate fine angular blocky structure; hard, firm; <br />sticky and plastic; few fine and medium roots; non-calcareous; pH <br />6.5; clear wavy boundary. <br />R 9+ inches sandstone bedrock. <br />• <br /> <br />The depth to bedrock ranges from 4 to 17 inches. The layer overlying the <br />bedrock may have an increased percentage of coarse fragments within. Mollic colors <br />(10 YR 5/3, 3/2) are usually present throughout. <br />Unnamed Series 32 <br />The Unnamed series 32 consists of somewhat poorly drained, moderately deep, <br />coarse textured soils. They occur in mixed alluvial material on terraces above valley <br />floors boardering Trout and Fish Creeks at elevations of 6,600 to 7,200 feet. <br />Permeability is moderate. These alluvial valley floor soils occur extensively near <br />Fish Creek, Sections 15 and 16, T.SN R.86W, and Section 36, T.SN R.86W. <br />Typically, the surface horizon is a grayish brown fine sandy loam about 10 <br />inches deep. It has a weak medium granular structure, which is very friable when <br />moist. The subsurface horizon is a grayish brown sandy loam about 8 inches thick. <br />This has a weak medium granular structure parting 'to single grain. It is soft both <br />dry and moist. The underlying material extends to depths greater Than 30 inches.
