RECLAMATION PLAN

A 10 L FORE TS
REHABILITATION AND MONITORING REQUIREMENTS
ANNUAL:
1. Shape the pit floor as shown on the drawings to provide for positive
drainage, disperse runoff, and avoid direct sedimentation into
adjacent draws.
2. Shape cutslopes, fillslopes, embankments, and other areas to minimize
erosion.
3. Submit an annual fee and report including maps describing acreage
affected and reclaimed to dote (if there are changes from the
previous year). C.R.S. 34- 32- 116(3)(a).
4. Spray noxious weeds that become established within the project area
with an approved herbicide.
5. Seed topsoil stockpile during first seeding season following each entry
with certified noxious weed —free hay seed mix described below.
6. Comply with state and federal water quality laws and regulations.
FINAL:
1. Replace overburden and waste materials and ensure adequate compaction.
2. All backfilling and grading sholl be completed as soon as feasible after
the mining process.
3. Shope and finish cutslopes, fillslopes, embankments, and other areas to
be seeded as shown on the drawings, and to blend with the natural
contours of the area.
4. When necessary, the area shall be scarified or otherwise worked so
that the surface is loose to a depth of at least one inch.
5. Seed area during the first seeding season following final excavation by
spraying or hand broadcasting certified noxious weed —free seed only
over all exposed soil on cut and fill slopes.
Seed mix shall be as follows:

6. Apply weed and disease free mulch, erosion blankets or sterile weed —
