Chan~~es should repeat the basic elements of form. line. <br />color, and texture found in [he predominant natural features of the characteristic landscape <br />\Vhen quarry operations are completed, the area tiould be reclaimed using BL~9 standards. to <br />restore the area to a natural condnton. <br />3. All operators ++ould have a fugitive-particulate emission (dust) control plan. <br />Operators would meet the dust-criteria standards re aired by the State of Colorado Public <br />Health and Environment Deparunent. If unacceptable dust levels occur. they +yould be <br />mitigated by water application. if dusty conditions persist, [he State of Colorado Air Qualm <br />Conu'ol Division would be contacted, and additional mitigation measures initiated, as regwred by <br />the State Of Colorado Public Health and Em~ironmen[ Department. <br />4. All federally perntitted activities +vould abide b_v all applicable federal, stag, and <br />county pollution standards. <br />~. H&H Stone will submit, prior to issuance of the permit, a plan of operation and <br />reclamation plan, for approval by authorizing officer as per 43CFR section . GOU. <br />6. Noxious weeds and non-native species would be controlled under the <br />supervision of Bureau of Land Management, on an as- needed basis. Any hay. stra+v. ur <br />mulch used for reclamation or hydrologic conu'ols +yould be certified +veed free. <br />7. H&H stone will meet noise criteria standards required by the State of Colorado <br />Public Health and Environment Department. <br />8. H&H Stone will be required to place cattle~~uards and Fence brace -panel <br />assemblies where the new access roads cross existing fences. The location of the <br />cattleguards will be determined within the mine PPlan of operation. If it is determined to <br />be necessary by the allottee the permit area will be fenced ott with 3 strand ++ire. <br />9. Permit boundary will be identified with steel fence posts. <br />]0. No explosives will be allowed on-site. <br />1 1. The only hazardous materials on-site will be motor fuels used for the mining <br />operation and will bz contained +yithut approved storage containers. <br />12. The Bureau of Land management will be notified 72 hours in ad+ ance below an~- <br />new surface disturbance occurs. <br />13. HRH Stone will abide by and obtain all necessary Federal, State, and County <br />permits, and pollution standards. <br />14. H&H Stone will make quarterly royalty payments to the San .loan Field Uffice. <br />These royally payments will be calculated by nwltiplying the royalty rate times the tonnage :\ <br />spread sheet will be provided with the royalty payment identifying the quantity and the type fo <br />material removed from the pern~it area. <br />15. He~H Stone will provide scale tickets when requested by the San .loan Field Oftic< to <br />verify production. <br />16. All top-soil and vegetative material will be stock piled for reclamation. <br />
