'`• ~ • t1)
EXHIBIT A. LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
The affected area lies in the SW4 of SE4, Section 14,
Township 18S, Range 71W, 6th P.M. Fremont County.
EXHIBIT B. MINING PLAN
The Mica Lode and surronding claims have been in existence
since approximately the early 1930's. This is one of our
most productive quarries, although it is estimated that we
only work in the area sixty days per year, extracting approxi-
mately 3000 tons per year.
At the present time, the only equipment used in the opera-
tion includes one front-end loader and one, or possibly two,
dump trucks to haul the material away to our processing plant
located in Canon City, Colorado.
The use of explosives and drilling is required to loosen
the rock from the quarry, but it should be remembered that
only 3000 tons/year is being extracted. We have considered
the thought of working some of the existing dumps left by
previous companies and operations. If this should ever become
feasible, the only other equipment that might be necessary
would be some type of a small screening plant,
It is estimated for future years that the total affected
area will not exceed the existing affected nine and one half acres.
EXHIBIT C. MAP
The map used is a U.S.G.S, topographic map. To accompany
it, photographs are included to show the affected area.
