RECEIVING STREAM: <br />A. Identification, Classification, and Numeric Standards <br />1. Identification: Unnamed tributaries to Naturita Creek and <br />the San Miguel River. San Miguel River <br />Sub-basin, Segment 12. <br />2. Classification <br />Recreation, Class 2, <br />(Warm) Agricultural <br />Numeric Standards - <br />3.5.0) <br />Aquatic Life, Class 2 <br />(Classifications and <br />Gunnison River Basin, <br />3. Numeric Standards: The standards which have been assigned in <br />accordance with the above classifications <br />can be found in 3.5.0 Classification and <br />Numeric Standards for Gunnison and Lower <br />Dolores River Basins, (5 CCR 1002-8), as <br />amended Sanuary 30, 1991. It should be <br />noted that this facility does not discharge <br />pollutants which are limited by water <br />quality standards with the exception of pH. <br />B. Receiving Water Data <br />1. Stream Low Flow: Not Applicable; effluent limitations are not flow <br />based. <br />IV. FACILITY INFORMATION: <br />The five sedimentation ponds have been designed to contain the 10-year, <br />24-hour precipitation event. <br />Since the facility is currently inactive, any discharges from the facility <br />should consist of surface runoff only. If discharge of mine water, prep <br />plant water, sanitary water or other non-surface runoff related water <br />becomes necessary, the Permittee will have to request that an individual <br />NPDES permit be drafted prior to the occurrence of such discharge, to <br />replace this general permit. <br />V. ANTIDEGRADATION: <br />These are not reviewable waters pursuant to Section 3.1.8(3)(a) of the <br />Basic Standards and Methodologies for Surface Water (SCCR 1002-2), based <br />on a finding of no increased water quality impact. <br />
