"fhe mine has <br />dug an excavation of i0-;5 feet and has nc>~cr encountered any water. 'Ihey also dug n <br />large test pit with a 1'runt end loader to a depth of un additional 25 feat turd never <br />encountered :tny water. The pit was dug during the irrigation season turd later tilled in. <br />f7terctitte. the total depth of grnvel without water during irrigation tier this site is Si-6U <br />Iecl. Interestingly enough, lwth of these perntits wen granted <br />and allowed to begin with almost nu infiirmation on the growulevater regime utlhe area. <br />they simply state that they will nut encounter groundwater.
