Keegan, site representative
for Kaiser Steel Resources, on an annual inspection of sedimentation ponds at the
Chimney Rock Mine. In addition to inspecting the ponds, my objective was to review
procedures used by Mr. Keegan during his quarterly inspections to confirm that they
are being done properly.
Attached are June 29, 1992 quarterly inspection reports for Ponds 002, 003,
004 and 005. By this letter, I certify that all ponds are in good condition and are
operating properly. In addition, Mr. Keegan is well-qualified to perform quarterly
inspections.
Should you have questions or need additional information, please advise Mr.
Keegan or me.
Very truly yours,
KMK/jg K.
