The changes incorporate the revised Regulation
33, changing the numeric standard for iron, manganese and sulfates to Water Supply
(WS). Supporting information indicates the relevant segment of Trout Creek is not in use
as a Water Supply, therefore testing for iron, manganese and sulfates will no longer
occur.
Additional modifications to the permit involve changes to the WET test monitoring,
primarily intended to reduce the sampling time requirements and eliminate confusion
over the timing of the acute and chronic testing which exists in the current permit.
If you have any questions regazding these changes, please give me a call.
If we don't get a chance to talk again before year's end, I hope you and your family have
a wonderful holiday season.
Sincerely,
Steven E.
