The method detection limit for measuring <br />settleable solids under this part shall be 0.4 m]/1. <br />4. _ Records <br />The pezmittee shall establish and maintain records. Those records shall include the following <br />a. The date, type, exact location, and time of sampling or measurements; <br />b. The individual(s) who performed the sampling or measwements; <br />c. The date(s) the analyses were performed; <br />d. The individual(s) who performed the analyses; <br />e. The analytical techniques or methods used; <br />f The results of such analyses; and <br />g. Any other observations which may result in an impact on the quality or quantity of the dischazge as ilrdicated in 40 CFR . <br />122.44 (i)(1)(iii). <br />The permittee shall retain for a minimum of three (3) years records of al] monitoring information, including all original strip <br />chart recordings for continuous monitoring instrumentation, all calibration and maintenance records, copies of all reports <br />required by this permit and records of all data used to complete the application for this permit. This period of retention shall <br />be extended dwing the cowse of any uwesolved litigation regarding the dischazge of pollutants by the pemvttee or when <br />requested by the Division or EPA. <br />5. Flow Measuring Device <br />If not already a part of the permitted facility, within ninety (90) days after the effective date of the permit, a flow measuring <br />device shall be installed to give representative values of effluent quantities at the respective dischazge points. Unless <br />specifically exempted, or modified in Part I.E.S of this permit, a flow measuring device will be applicable at all designated <br />dischazge points. <br />A[ [he request of [he Division, the pemvttee shall show proof of the accwacy of any flow-measuring device used in obtaining <br />data submitted in the monitoring report. The flow-measuring device must indicate values within ten (10) percent of the actual <br />flow being discharged from the facility. <br />6. Signatory and Certificafion Requirements <br />a. All reports and ether information required by the Division, shall be signed and certified for accwacy by the pemtittee in <br />accord with the following criteria: <br />i) In the case of corporations, by a principal executive officer of at ]east the level ofvice-president or his or her duly <br />authorized representative, if such representative is responsible for the overall operation of the facility from which the <br />discharge descnbed in the form originates; <br />ii) In the case of a partnership, by a general partner; <br />iii) In the case of a sole proprietorship, by the proprietor; <br />
