The information includes two SEDCAD model output summaries and a certification letter
(w/drawing), from Golder and Associates. One SEDCAD model addresses the current design
containment volume required for the Pond 007 series, to contain twice the 10 year-24 hour design
storm runoff volume, and the second model speaks to the outlet requirements to route the peak
discharge for the 100 year-24 hour design storm. The Golder letter addresses the recently
excavated as-built containment volume of the new cell of the Pond 007 series. To summarize [he
containment requirement results, current and projected future watershed conditions require a total
of 7.02 ac-ft for the Pond 007 series. With [he anticipated loss of containment of the two
uppermost cells of the 007 series, the remaining storage volume available would be 3.2 ac-ft. The
as-built volume of the newly conswcted cell of the Pond 007 series, as certified by Golder and
Associates, is 5.2 ac-ft. Therefore, the total containment volume available (after the two upper
cells are lost) is 8.4 ac-ft, which exceeds the 7.02 ac-ft required.
Details of this newly conswcted cell will be added to our updated Storm Water Management
Plan and will be included in future site drawings to be submitted with our next request for
Technical Revision.
Please contact me at (719)-689-4151 should you have any questions or require additional detail.
Sincerely, ,
a. ~
Marc Tidquist
Senior Project Engineer
cc: Gary Goodrich
