In this <br />fashion, any deflection or vertical settlement will be monitored along with any other manifes- <br />tations of subsidence (fractured drywall, ill-fitting doors and windows, plumbing leaks, etc.). It is <br />believed any subsidence-caused damage can be promptly rectified on a case-by-case basis, using <br />economically and technologically feasible means. For additional monitoring information, refer to <br />Subsidence Repair Handbook, Volume 3. <br />The Steven's Gulch Road was inspected once per day during pillar recovery beneath this feature, <br />when access permitted. If tension cracks or compression bulges are detected, regrading will <br />commence immediately. The lesser developed network ofjeep trails are in constant stages of <br />disrepair, and will be inspected as being used during spring and summer, in order to detect <br />subsidence related damage. A sign will be posted at the entrance of each trail stating "Subsidence <br />Cracks Possible" prior to undermining the trail. <br />A sign will be posted prior to undermining the Steven's Gulch Road. The sign will state <br />"SUBSIDENCE CRACKS POSSIBLE" and will be located at the end of the paved section. <br />Ample barricades will be stored at the mine site for use during possible detection-repair activities. <br />have manifested along Steven's Gulch Road. • , , <br />The Steven's Gulch Road was undermined or could have been affected by mining in panels A, B, <br />C, G and the II West Submains.
