Quarterly, water samples were <br />taken for laboratory analysis. Results may be seen in the Surface <br />Water Appendix, Volume 4. <br />The stream gauge on the West Fork of Terror Creek, SW-l, is located in <br />the SL$ NFL; Sec. 5, T13S, R91W, of the 6th P.M.. A 5 ft. high stilling <br />well and housing containing a 32-day recorder was attached to the <br />wingwall of an existing culvert which passes under a maintenance road . <br />to the Curecanti-Hayden powerline. <br />SW-2 is located on the Fast Fork of Terror Creek i the NW; SE; Sec. 5, <br />T13S, R91W, of the 6th P.M.. A 48-inch Parshall flume manufactured by <br />the 'Thompson Pipe and Steel Company of Denver, Colorado, was installed <br />at this location. <br />The Stevens C~ilch stream gauge, SW-5, is located near CWI's timber <br />storage area in the NFi'; NW; Sec. 25, T13S, R92W, of the 6th P.M.. A <br />36-inch Parshall flume was installed at this location. <br />SW-6 is located on East Roatcap Creek in the NFf SW4 Sec. 23, T13S, <br />R92W, of the 6th P.M.. A 36-inch Parshall flume was also installed at <br />this location. <br />SW-9 was located on the upper reaches of East Roatcap Creek, below a <br />diversion from the Overland Ditch into the creek in the NEr; SW4 Sec. <br />3, T13S, R92W, of the 6th P.M.. A stilling well and recorder were <br />attached to an Pvlsting 12-inch Parshall flume at this location. Tnis <br />stream gauge was deleted from the monitoring program in 1986 because <br />the primary diversion of the Overland Ditch was changed to West Roatcap <br />Creek from East Roatcap Creek. SW-9 was reinstalled on the Overland <br />Ditch diversion into West Roatcap Creek in the fall of 1988. The new <br />installation is located in the NF'r, SF}; Sec. 5, T13S, R92W, of the 6th <br />P.M.. <br />A stilling well and recorder were installed on a 30-inch Parshall flume <br />on the Terror Ditch. This stream gauge, SW-10, is located in the NF}; <br />NE4 Sec. 17, T13S, R91W, of the 6th P.M.. <br />SW-11 is an existing concrete rectangular weir constructed to measure <br />flows in Main Roatcap Creek and is located in the NW; Sec. 35, T13S, <br />R92W, of the 6th P.M..
