RECLAMATION PLAN

The anticipated post mining land use will be grassland,
The haul road will be in the affected areal of the Pit,and
will enter the County road to the South.
We will mine 1 acre at a time and will reclaim the acre
each time we have completed the gravel extraction.
All slopes will be graded to no steeper than 3:1 and
contoured to match the natural terrain of the area.
Final grading will be approved by the Soil Conservation
Department, then the topsoil will be disced to a depth
of approximately 6" prior to seeding. After the completion
of fertilizing and seeding, mulch will be placed according
to the seeding plan.
Each 1 acre will be sloped subsequent to the completion of
• the mining operation .
See attached seeding and fertilizing plan. The Soil
Conservation Service seeding plan is just a guide. We do
plan on using this guide unless the Reclamation Department
from the Division of Minerals and Geology have another plan
they would want us to use.
The vegetation cover of the Pit area is sparse(25%)
