•

Undisturbed Area 26
Disturbed Area 10
Drainage Control - V-ditch on inslope controls all drainage uphill. Road
is insloped to enable road surface drainage to sheet
flow to V-ditch. V-ditch conveys drainage to culvert
TA-2.
Segment 8 (8A to 8H):
Drainage Areas - Disturbed Area 7
Undisturbed Area 23
Disturbed Area S
Disturbed Area 9
Disturbed Area 11
Undisturbed Area 24
Undisturbed Area 25
Undisturbed Area 26
Disturbed Area 10
Undisturbed Area 5
Drainage Control - V-ditch on inslope controls all drainage uphill. Out
side berm is used to capture road surface drainage.
Drainage is released and captured further downhill
along Segment 10 of the road. The runout channel will
have the same configuration as the ditch except it
will be deepened to have a freeboard of 1 ft. Four
loose rock filters will be placed in the runout
channel to dissipate water velocity. Rock filters will
be constructed to a height of the design flow depth.
Freeboard not filled with rock material to ensure flow
passes to sedimentation pond should rock filters
become plugged with ice or sediment. The additional
freeboard is provided to ensure that the design flow
and required Freeboard is maintained in the event of
the rock filters becoming plugged.
•
3.SF-6
May 14, 1993
