• XINED LAND WILDLIFE STATEMENT/EVALUATION (Revised) <br />for limite3 impact and select regular mine~pplications <br />The folloving information pertaining to wildlife is provided for use by Hined Land <br />Reclamation Board in their consideration of a mining permit for: <br />Animas County, T32S, R63W, Sec. 6, NEB <br />e and Location of Pone (Legal) <br />Wildlife Species list: <br />mule deer (possibly) •• <br />antelope golden eagles <br />scaled quail prairie falcons <br />jackrabbit bald eagles as a winter migrant <br />cottontail rabbits other associated non-game species <br />red-tailed hawk <br />Endangered/critical species/impacted: <br />Should be no critical species impacted in the area. <br />Critical habitats/vegetative communities impacted: <br />Rolling hill area with a midgrass cholla cactus prairie association. <br />Assessment of impact: <br />This gravel operation should not impact wildlife significantly. A slight dispersal <br />of wildlife from the immediate area will occur during the operation, but should not <br />cause detrimental effects. No eagle nest sites, critical fawning areas, etc. exist here. <br />Impact on wildlife should be minimal. <br />Ysne Reclamation recommendations (include key species/habitats for which restoration <br />is designed). <br />Upon completion of the project, [he affected area should be reclaimed according to <br />SCS recommendations to provide cover for scaled qua31.
