1 <br />The three coal lease applications are also within the boundaries of <br />the area covered by the Northwest Colorado Coal Regional Final <br />Environ.^~ental State:~ent (FES 77-1) by I?LM in 1976 and the Northwest <br />I Colorado Suopleaental Report which was made available to the public in <br />i <br />early Dece:ber 1978. These documents will also be used to supplement <br />the infor:~ation contained in this report. These documents also <br />provide a cumulative analysis o£ impacts of the on-going Energy Fuels <br />mining operation with other coal developments in this region of <br />Colorado. <br />The three lease applications are wholly contained within the Yamp=_ <br />Ynoan Recoverable Co_1 Resource urea ('~RCRA) as defined by the U.S. <br />Geological Survey. <br />Township diagra^-s showing surface ownership .on and around the three <br />coal lease applications are attached as Exhibit A. Energy Fuels <br />Corporatior. o:rns the surface estate r:ithin all three coal lease <br />applications. <br />This TE/EAR ensures compliance with new laws and reguations concerning <br />coal leasing and operations. These include (1) Federal Coal Leasing <br />Amendments act of 1976; (2) Federal Land Policy and Management Act of <br />1976; (3) Surface !lining Control and Reclamation Act of t977; and <br />accompanyin3 regul_tions which have been promulgated including 43 CFR <br />3041; 43 CFR 3525; 30 CFR 211; 30 ;=R 700. <br />j <br />4 <br />
