• capability for recreation is based on Sts landscape variety, <br />xildlife and terrain suitable for sno:.:nobiling. The rocky <br />outcrops on the north side of Foidel Creek both have lo:: <br />capability based on their rock formations and landscape <br />variety. There are no fishing cpportur.ities on the lease <br />application areas. <br />Elk and deer are present on and adjacent to the application <br /> areas. These big game animals provide good viewing opoo^- <br /> tunities in the winter months. A major part of the area is <br /> visible from Routt County Road 27. <br />~ <br />i At least one historic site is present on the tract and <br />~ <br />I possibly two other sites near Pinnacle Peak. All histcr_c <br /> sites ha ve human interest valu e. <br />The most significant resource in the area of tracts is <br />Energy's .!1 mine, which is fully visible from County Roar 27 <br />and provides opportunities to se= all steps of the min'_rg <br />operations. The capability rating for this area is mod_rate- <br />ly high (class 3) (see legend for Figure 7), based on t^e <br />human interest characteristics of the mining and recla`ation <br />operations.
